We have a Capricorn full moon happening tomorrow. Right out of retrograde, right into Cancer season—it’s an especially powerful time to commit to things.
Capricorn energy is a hard energy. When I say hard I don’t mean bad. I mean that it’s an energy interested in perseverance, taking on as much as possible, and working through action and not solely through the mind. Capricorns keep the world running. They are the little spirits flitting about and reminding us that we can do more, that we are more, and that maybe the most interesting kind of glamour is hard work.
When I’m with a Capricorn I always notice how seriously they take themselves. And I truly admire that. Capricorns have taught me to be rigorous. Capricorns have shown me that you don’t have to give everybody the time of day (especially losers). Capricorns are living examples, more or less, that you don’t need anyone’s approval or belief in you. That maybe, you’re actually all you need.
So on that note, I want you to try and spend the full moon not thinking about lovers or exes or people that have fucked you over. Don’t think about things that have gone wrong in your career or things you could have done better. The past is never going to happen again. Let this Capricorn energy show you that. I want you to write (in your Notes app or email, or you know, with actual pen and paper) about some day or night when you felt truly powerful and limitless. Not because of a person in your life. Not because you were in love. And not because of personal achievement either. Where did that power come from? I know if you think about it the Capricorn moon tomorrow will give you some of it back.
Love,
Alex
