This post is part of our Situationships series looking at “maybe” relationships that occur between all signs. Situationship here is loosely defined as: a mix of late-night ambiguity, low-effort check-ins, and vague plans that keep things undefined. And yes, we will be telling you about every pair in the zodiac. Stay tuned for these weekly and become a paid subscriber to access all of them (including our chart readings, horoscopes, and other daily content).

To be in a situationship with a Virgo is actually fucking scary. Because Virgos are known as a fairly dependable sign in both friendship and romance. They are not really going to rock the boat. They are an Earth sign. They truly value one-on-one intimacy. And while it takes a while to get to know them (read: they reveal everything quite slowly), Virgos have infinite depth.

The reality is: they are still a mutable sign. And mutable signs are characterized by flights of fancy. While Virgos have less of those moments than say a Sagittarius or a Gemini (other mutable signs), they still act out at times or keep their cards so close to their chest, you never really know where you stand with them.

This is, of course, where the Virgo in a situationship is born. When Virgos are feeling non-committal they will usually go for a sign with a big personality, a flashy aura, and a lot of energy. Someone who can do all the heavy-lifting. And that sign is Leo. A real no brainer for anyone who needs a boost.
