Hi Astro Poets!
Iâm a Libra rising, Taurus sun, and Aquarius moon. My Venus is in Pisces and my Mars is in Gemini ;) I recently moved to Europe from the US and am really enjoying my new life and starting to explore some alternative career paths involving music and spiritual healing, but Iâm a lawyer by training and have been working in the human rights space for many years. Nothing about a new profession is concrete yet but Iâm really enjoying learning what I can and seeing where things go. Iâm excited about what this next year holds for me in my âcareerâ (hate that word), but also in my love life! I feel there are so many more people here who align with my personality and my views on life than where I lived before and I definitely have several crushes on some very cute guys, and Iâve done a lot of work on myself since my last heartbreak. Curious to see what may transpire and interested, as always, in your poetic take!
Love,
A go-with-the-flow Taurus (if you can believe it!)
Dear Go-With-The-Flow Taurus,
How beautiful to leave the faster side of the world and go toward the slower, old worldâEurope! We wish you so much luck in your new direction and pathâthe creative and the spiritual often align at ONCE in moments like these.
Love also follows! Firstâitâs MAJOR when a Taurus shakes up their life with a begin decision like switching up career and location. Why? Because Taurus is a deliberate sign. They are impulsive and they take a very long time MOVE on anything and make a change. This is a great trait most of the time, but it sometimes gets them stuck in a mental holding pattern. You have broken away from that and when you set one thing in motion in your life (career, location, etc)âa second and third thing have a much easier time evolving and changing as well.
When a Taurus starts charging toward what they feel and intuit, itâs also very powerful because theyâre usually pragmatists. Sometimes the most pragmatic thing to do is to feel the vibe, not crunch the numbers. Earth signs already know how to do the latter and should let themselves feel the former more often.
Yours Mars in Gemini will truly help you in your career, as much as you hate that word. We should say, careers. Because when your Mars is in Gemini you feel limitless, like you contain multitudes. And youâre at your best when you decide you can go from one thing to the next, back again, and toward another nextâwhen you basically tell yourself that you are not one thing, but many. Telling yourself that and then doing it (ACTION!) is what sets all the other pieces in motion.
Like your Venus in Pisces, for example. This is an OBSESSIVE Venus placement. When you think about love, you are VERY serious. Even a crush feels big to you. So to have that Mars in Gemini (PASSION) activated in your career sector, and your Taurus sun moving you around the globeâitâs a beautiful thing because it puts a lot less pressure on that Venus in Pisces. It chills it a bit, so to speak.
There are actually great things about having a Venus in Pisces. You clean lean into the adventurous qualities, the whimsy, and the childhood field trip feeling of it allâŚas opposed to the deep obsession, and the seriousness with which you take dating and love. Nothing wrong with either in moderation, but we think itâs good for you to just let go of the reigns a little. Why not! Youâre doing it everywhere else in life and you will be rewarded. A new romantic prospect is on its way to you because everything else is new.
Youâve gotta leave your house to encounter the new world! And thatâs said to all of us.
Much love,
The Astro Poets
Hi Astro Poets!
Longtime subscriber finally remembering to get a personal reading and feel like itâs a really good time for one too. I turned 29 a few weeks ago then proceeded to move to a new city after finishing my masters. Even if I attempt to date or have fallen into situationships (rip), my last (and only) actual relationship ended in early 2019. This is mainly a request for a âwhat does romance have in storeâ reading but would also appreciate any insight when it comes to career given the fresh start Iâve just gotten with everything. Big fan of your work and looking forward to hearing back as I navigate the last year of my 20âs, thank youuu!
Leo sun, Pisces moon, Scorpio rising, Libra Venus, Virgo Mercury, and Scorpio Mars
xx Lucky Girl Syndrome Leo
Dear Lucky Leo,
We are pairing you with this magnificent Taurus up top and wishing you both luck! And love! Itâs for sure in the cards.
The closer Leos get to any semblance of middle age (which, you may call it 45, you may call it 50, some people may think itâs 30âwhatever the idea of it), the more fixed they come as a fixed sign. What does that mean? Well, you are going to want romance to feel very grounded if youâre changing everything else up or if youâre going full tilt into something new career wise.
This is good news for Leos because when they act from a place of conviction and confidence, they are rewarded. Even if you have to fake it a little. Put your most powerful self forward and launch yourself into whatever belief youâre most invested in.
This may actually mean being more selective with you who date / go on dates with. Let the fixed nature of your sun sign (which feels very much like earth energy) make you ask the hard questions and deduce whether someone can give you what you need. At the same time, your Venus is in Libra. You will have a hard time deciding. You will feel like the more options, the more time, the better.
Trust your intuition in terms of energy more than you trust physical attraction, initially. Which is to say, Leos can often see the best in people, and their worst qualities too, right off the bat. Listen to that. If something feels off, donât entertain another date. Be selective. If something sparks your interest, try to draw that out. Donât go too fast. See where your soulful Leo nature takes you.
Since you are a Pisces moon you will want to take very good care of your heart. You feel things very deeply and you process things, even after they are over, for a very long time. This is beautiful, especially if youâre an artist or have creative passions, but it is also very taxing. So again, be preciseâmaybe more precise than everâwith where you put your energy and who you see. Do certain people give you an energy hangover? Pay attention. Do others energize you? Thatâs the real way to tell.
Somewhere your soul mate is furiously walking toward you,
